Description
- The purpose of the installation is to reduce attenuation and turbulence by installing the Sound Elbow at a right angle of the duct. The basic type of sound elbow is GLASS WOOL (50T) + GLASS CLOTH + perforated plate protection on the 4 sides of the elbow. Then, to reduce the turbulence, a guide vane is installed.
Effectiveness
- Sound Elbow : There are many differences in sound attenuation depending on the installation of the guide vane, such as circular elbow, stick elbow, right angle elbow, and etc., but generally, the sound attenuation in the middle and high range is better than in the low range.
- Elbow Type Silencer : Elbow-type silencers may be installed instead of sound elbows when installation of silencers is not easy or when additional noise attenuation is required.
