Pipe damper system
- The pipe system is flexible since the pipe system at power plants and chemical plants etc. having high temperature has a very large volume of thermal expansion. Therefore, in case that fluids generate vibration, there are many cases that it can’t be onfined by general springs and supports etc. At that moment, it is the pipe damper system as a device that sufficiently absorbs thermal displacement and reduces vibration of pipes. The system adds damping to the pipe system and effectively reduces vibration by converting the energy of vibration into thermal energy.

The pipe damper system of UNISON Engineering is made of a structure and materials that can minimize variation of damping by blocking high temperature of pipes effectively even in the high-temperature pipe system. The experiment for dynamic characteristics ranging from 1Hz up to 30Hz was conducted on the product. Through this experiment, the damping coefficients by frequency were obtained.
